On June 22, 1995, Gotenba Kogen Beer was born at the foot of Mt. Fuji as a gift from God.

Our microbrewing has consistently followed a recipe taught by a brewmister in Germany, the home of beer. This policy is behind our desire to provide fresh and awesome local beer.

We have some 600,000 visitors every year. Over 4,000,000 visitors have enjoyed our superb Gotenba Kogen Beer since its opening. Our output currently ranks first in Japan as a brewery restaurant.

Freshness is the key to good microbrew. You cannot taste it unless you come all the way down to the microbrewery. We sincerely appreciate all our customers who visited us.

１９９４	February September November	Preparatory office was set up. Company was founded. "Learner's permit" license was issued.

１９９５	January June October	Construction work started. Beer restaurant with 280 seats was opened. (1st beer restaurant in Eastern part of Japan; 9th in Japan.) Pao restaurant with 220 seats was opened.

１９９６	April August August	Mugibatake restaurant with 270 seats was opened. Internet service was launched. Capacity of beer restaurant was extended to 380 seats.

１９９７	June July October	Yonekyu Mori-no-beer factory was opened. Capacity of Mugibatake was extended to 350 seats. Capacity of all 3 facilities reached some 1,000 seats. Number of visitors reached 1 million.

１９９８	April	"Permanent permit" license was issued.

１９９９	November	Number of visitors reached 2 million.

２０００	April	Mugibatake was refurbished to 2-story building with 480 seats.

２００１	September	Number of visitors reached 3 million.

２００２	June	The 2,000th microbrewing was achieved.

２００３	June	Number of visitors reached 4 million.
